Publication Ethics

Solovyov Studies ISPU prioritizes publication ethics and strives to foster the development of high-quality scientific content throughout the publication process. The journal follows the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors). These guidelines help ensure the proper handling of suspected duplication, plagiarism, or unethical practices in submitted manuscripts. By adhering to these ethical standards, the journal aims to maintain the integrity and credibility of its publications.

All manuscripts submitted to Solovyov Studies ISPU undergo a rigorous editorial process to maintain high scientific quality. This process includes strict measures to prevent plagiarism, redundant submissions, multiple publications, and the fabrication or falsification of research data.

Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts contain original work. Copying text, ideas, or data from other authors without proper citation is considered plagiarism. This includes the use of previously published or unpublished material without appropriate acknowledgment. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected or withdrawn.

Duplicate Publication and Data Falsification

Duplicate publication occurs when a manuscript significantly overlaps with previously published work in terms of data, hypotheses, discussions, or conclusions without proper acknowledgment. Authors must ensure originality and avoid publishing the same content in multiple journals.

Data fabrication refers to creating false or fictitious research data without conducting the actual experiment or study. Data falsification involves manipulating research materials, altering data, or selectively omitting conflicting results without valid scientific justification. These practices are serious ethical violations and will not be tolerated.

Equivalent Submission

Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously. Manuscripts that are already published or under review elsewhere will not be considered for publication. Duplicate submissions may lead to rejection of the manuscript.

Improper Authorship

Authorship credit should be given only to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research work, including study design, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and final approval for publication. Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged separately without being listed as authors.
